At Carver bikes, we pride ourselves on having an eye for the newest developments in the industry and we're often one of the leaders when it comes to new offerings in the bike world. Our fatbike is no exception...we designed and built up our first demo almost immediately upon the arrival of Surly's breakout Pugsley. Since those days of obsolete 150mm/100mm fatbike spacing and treadless tires, we have been slowly polishing our frame design and build spec.
The O'Beast is our flagship fatbike, equally suitable for touring, bikepacking, racing, and just going for a toot. Sliding dropouts afford the versatility to accept a wide variety of axle and dropout styles. While optimized around 4" tires, the O'Beast can often accommodate slightly larger tires with a few adjustments. (Need more float? The Omega'Beast has ample clearance for all setups including 5"+ tire.)
The O'Beast has been tested on virtually every surface on earth and promises a wildly comfortable ride. Made of 3/2.5 titanium, with a brushed finish and subtle bead blasted logos, it's sure to turn some heads on the trail.
