Several years back, Carver did a limited run of pre-built and custom Boost mountain bike wheels using the venerable Novatec D642/D641 hubs. These hubs are easily identifiable by their all black color with silver laser etched Novatec logos. If you are lucky enough to have a set of these and need to change your freehub body to match a new drivetrain (or you managed to wear out your original freehub body), this is the freehub body you need. It will also fit any other brand wheel that uses a Novatec D642 rear hub or any other Novatec hub that uses the X4 type freehub body.
