Participated in the Carrabassett Back Country Challenge 100k again this year. Very well organized event. The volunteers are spectacular. Aid stations are well placed, adequately stocked with various beverages, snacks and enthusiasm. Similar course to last year's with a few more technical sections added. 60 miles with over 6k feet of climbing. The climbs are rugged. Must have rained the night before as there were some slick sections especially up 50 that were almost un-rideable. Despite what they threw at us I walked away with a first place finish in Female 35-49.
