RACING DISCIPLINE(S) AND CATEGORY(S): Expert Mountain Bike/ Cat 5 Cyclocross
# OF YEARS RACING: Off and on since the 90's. Picked it back up again in 2012.
# OF BIKES OWNED: 4 (Kona Hei Hei, Kona Super Jake, Kona Wozo, GT Peace 9er for commuting)
FAVORITE BIKE: Kona Hei Hei. I splurged for Sram AXS electric shifting this year so I'm excited to put that to use.
FAVORITE TRAIL OR RIDE: I like the long adventures. Piecing together the local Portland trails and then making a big loop of it up through Falmouth, Cumberland, and Windham.
NON-CYCLING INTERESTS/HOBBIES: Kiteboarding, surfing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, hockey, hiking, guitar, wife, daughters, etc...
PERSONAL NOTES & QUOTES: Looking forward to my sixth year of racing with Team Bikeman. This year I’m planning to do the Wilmington-Whiteface race, the Vermont 50, The Northwoods Gravel Grind in Rangeley, and a few more races mixed in as I can manage.
